Zantac 75 is designed for the relief of indigestion and heartburn. It is made by the Glaxo Smith Klein group. The pills are foil wrapped and each five sided pink tablet contains 75mg of ranitidine. Ranitidine is an H2 blocker which works by stopping the over production of acid in the stomach. It's the acid that causes the pain of heartburn and indigestion. One tablet swallowed with a glass of water should stop the problem for up to twelve hours. If this doesn't solve the problem, a second tablet can be taken.
