When it drifts along with the fragrances of the flowers and the smoke from the Barbie, it can fill your senses. It can get those juices flowing and make you feel so alive. When it's on a mountain it can freeze the ****** of you yet still fill you with the same exuberance. When camping it can be the sound of warmth and comfort as you snuggle up in your sleeping bag and hear it's breath banging on the tent. Yet when it's in your body it can be a total pain in the ****.

What am I talking about WIND that's what. You know the stuff that makes you trump and smell bad. Well thankfully there's a remedy.

Unfortunately many people suffer from Heartburn and Indigestion, some through no fault of their own others simply by constantly bombarding their bodies with junk food and booze. I'm not here to moralise simply offer what I deem to be a solution to the problem. Obviously drinking and eating spicy foods to excess will cause you tummy trouble but that's your decision and it's OK by me............just think about it a little though could save you a lot of grief in future.

According to their website GlaxoSmithKline are the largest research-based pharmaceutical manufacture, with sales of over £20Bn I'm not betting they are wrong. They have their headquarters in the UK and manufacture a product I am about to review called Zantac.

The main symptoms of heartburn and indigestion are pain and discomfort, this is caused by the stomach producing to much acid which causes acid reflux in the oesophagus. This acid build up causes added gas which finds it's own way out if you get my drift. I can cause a fair bit of discomfort itself as it goes on it's journey though. If not put under control this excess acid can cause tissue damage to the lining of the stomach and may also cause ulcers, so we need to find a remedy.

I did read all the medical jargon on Ranitidine but it was far to complicated for me so I have tried to simplify for this review. Zantac's main active ingredient is Ranitidine an H2 blocker which partially inhibits the stomach from producing to much acid hence solving the problem. Now I know you are going to ask me what an H2 blocker is but I ain't no Doctor so I haven't a clue, I only supply the info LOL. Ranitidine is also used to cure ulcers. Side effects from Zantac are very rare but can include diarrhoea, dizziness which do not last for long. I have not had any of these side effects whilst taking this medication.

They are available at your local pharmacist, whom you should talk to when you go to buy. He/She are far better qualified to advise than I. Beware however they are quite expensive well I thought so at £3.99 for 12 at Boots.
Zantac comes in a white box with a silhouette figure on the left. The stomach area of this figure has a red oval to symbolise the main no doubt. Across the bottom is the word ZANTAC with a small 75 in the arc of the C. To the right and bottom of ZANTAC is the word relief both in a dark blue colour.
I am only prone to these symptoms now and then but have found Zantac to be far and away the most effective remedy. If you get rid of the excess acid then their is no more excess gas being produced. No acid No gas = No heartburn/Indigestion and No Less Wind. The body will of course still produce it's own natural amount of wind but generally this goes by un-noticed..................well physically.
