Not a cold sore in sight (Zovirax)

I have never actually had a cold sore but it hink this is completely down to Zovirax. I often get a tingling feeling near my lip and a lump that feels like it could be a spot (perhaps it actuallyis and that's why i haven't had one!). Anyway i'm pretty sure it is the beginning of what would develop into a cold sore.

Whenever i get this i get Zovirax. At around £6 for a 2ml tube it seems like a bit of a rip off but a 2ml tube can last absolutely ages - providing you don't lose it (the tube is so tiny it isn't hard to misplace!).

It's a small sqeezy tube and you simply squeeze it onto clean fingers and massage around the area you can feel the tingling sensation.

Be careful no to put it directly onto the area as if you do you could infect the tube and then everytime you use it afterwards you will be reinfecting yourself.

I think it combats cold sores really well - mine have never developed into anythind more and luckily i don't get left with any dry skin or blistering either.

I would recommend this to anyone that gets the odd niggle.
