surj1 Delonghi HTN 2033: ... Delonghi HTN 2033 is an electric fan heater, I usually keep this in the garage for those cold evenings when im trainig. The heater has power of 3kw and can also be used for the summer as the heater function can be turned off so the unit acts as a cool air fan. The heater has 2 heat settings one mild the other full heat and has a auto switch of function via a thermostat for safety purposes. So if the unit is accid...

blondgem Dimplex Piccolo Freestanding Fire
... my house, in my lounge I have a brick fireplace with a huge hole in it that my electric fire used to reside. I never really like this particular fire and when it decided to break I wasn t really that bothered because it was just another excuse to have the option to purchase another one. Living on your own isn t easy, pennies come and go and as long as the bills are paid then I am happy. Having the current fireplace ripped out and having a new fireplace that I would have liked was not the option as basically that would cost a lot more money than I would have liked to have paid, so I decided I would get another freestanding fire to replace the one that had broke. B...

... always seem to be having a constant battle in our household. I love a really warm house, and so I m forever turning the central heating on to constant instead of timed, and turning up the thermostat. My wife on the other hand likes a cooler environment, and so is constantly going around behind me and turning the heating back down again. (Or even off altogether!) One thing we do agree on, and that is our dining room (which I also use as a study and which houses our PC) is a *VERY* cold room. The problem is that it never gets any sun (as opposed to our living room which gets it right throughout the day) and so even with the central heating on full blast it is *STILL* co...

... joys of living in halls of residence mean that although I have a limited supply of electricity to live on, I have already paid for it within the price of rent which I pay yearly. Although the convector heaters on the walls of my apartment are working overtime, they still don t stay on for prolonged hours when I m head launched into study books and I m completely happy with my Delonghi fan heater which pumps out a maximum of 2400 watt generated heat - in one room against the kitchen which is always freezing or has a base warmth thanks to the convector heater in there, and even I know its not good to go from one hot room to one cold room...its no surprise that already I...
