I purchased this fan heater whilst working for a relatively small company, located in an old house with no central heating! I rapidly discovered that my naturally cold-blooded self was not a fan of this particularly cold environment. So, after a week or so, a trip to Argos was in order.

Originally, I chose this product for the price. I spent £13.99 on this product, from the Argos Value range. My logic behind this was to give it a go while the weather was particularly cold back in February this year. If it didn't last too long, nothing lost.

The design of this product is really compact. The small size of it means that you can shove it into the corner of the room or under your desk. It stays upright easily as it has a wide base and is quite robust itself. Although, if it doesn't stay upright, it has a safety cut out. This is great for having a work station which is on a main thoroughfare in the office, as I can be safe in the knowledge that my heater won't burn the office down!

A big advantage of this product is that it doesn't make a lot of noise, it just makes a quiet hum which is the sort of level that you can cope with when you are trying to concentrate.

It has a variable heat setting which is on the most left dial and varies from rather cold to lovely and toasty warm! Also, it has variable speeds of fan, which is great for providing steady heating throughout the day.

This little heater has done me really well over the last 6 months, it's kept me cold in a warm office, and even greater of an achievement, it's kept my severely anaemic co-worker toasty! High praise in itself!

Verdict: This heater is a great piece of kit for the office. It was excellent value as it wasn't too pricey and it is still going great. For the price, I didn't think it would last, but it really has. It's kept me really toasty warm, and that's all I brought it for! If I needed to purchase these for elsewhere, I definitely would.
