Introduction I've got vented radiators at home which have grilles that run across their tops and whilst this means that they throw out a lot of heat and keep my home warm during the colder months of the year it also restricts me with what I can do with them. Unlike traditional radiators that you can get your hands behind I can't with mine as the gap between the edge of the grille and my walls is so narrow that nothing will fit between them so I have problems when it comes to decorating as I cant get behind them to paint and, more annoyingly, I can't use my radiators in the normal way to dry clothes or my washing on as it's impossible to drape things over them. ... I've got quite a lot of rooms in my house and I hate wasting the heat in each of them when I have the heating on. They are also rooms that are used all the time, so there isn't any point in turning the radiators off by the valves, so I wanted to make use of the wasted heat in the rooms we were aren't in, in the best way possible, so I set about finding a clothes airer that would hang over the radiators. My mum had recommended to me that she had previously had a good one from Dunelm Mills so off I toddled. At £2.99, they are good value, and for a clothes rail with more than one rail, they were the cheapest I had seen. I had decided on a clothes rail for the ... Read the complete review

We have two of these great little Utility Room 5 Bar Radiator Indoor Clothes rails and we go them at a bargain price of only £2.99 each from Dunelm Mill when we took the mother in law out there back in February of this year. We haven't been using them lately as the weather has been glorious but when it's cold and damp and wet outside and we have a mountain of washing to get dried (such as my work gear and the little lad's school uniform) that can take up a lot of space on a radiator and this way we find we can dry things much quicker. They fit easily over the top of our household radiators and we usually fix one to the kitchen radiator and one to the ... Read the complete review

I have a multi fuel burner in my house which heats the radiators in every room of my council house, which is good in winter for drying clothes, I used to put the clothes over the radiators but the problem with this is you can only fit two items of clothing at a time on the radiator and one item on the small radiators in the box room and bathroom, so whilst sauntering around Dunelm in Hereford I saw these Utility Room 5 Bar Radiator Indoor Clothes Rails for just £2.99 and bought four of them to fit over my radiators. They fit quite snuggly onto my radiators as they are the older style ones where you can get your hands down the back, having these utility rails ... Read the complete review

WHAT IS IT? A metal airer to dry your clothes over the radiator without having to drape them over the radiator. It is a frame that hangs over the top of your radiator and fits into place, it can be easily taken off and put back on. IS IT ANY GOOD? This radiator dryer is very good for small items. You can't hang anything heavy on it or it will either fall off the radiator completely or start to bend downwards. I only use mine for drying the muslin cloths I use in my business day and my baby daughters small clothes. There are five sections where you can hang things off and there is just the right amount of space between them ... Read the complete review
