Helena Rubinstein Prodigy Cream
by goldenbat666
The Prodigy line is the most expensive line amongst the already expensive Helena Robinstein products. So I may list all I want about this product but ultimately it would have to be an individual decision balancing the pros and cons compared to the price, because price IS an issue here!
As the price might suggest, this cream comes in ... a sturdy glass pot; the pearly outlook giving you the sophiticated and ever so slight modern impression. Given the round design and thick cap (light in weight though), this cream does tend to look rather bulky on your make up table compared to other 50ml creams. Do be careful when using the spatula because given the design and the smooth material, the pot is highly likely to slip easily from your hand!
This is a very slightly off-white coloured cream in a somewhat heavy balm-like texture. It may even feel like a lump of fat when you're scooping out the product with the spatula but never fear! This cream is anything but oily and hence, boasts very quick absorption, only leaving non-sticky skin surface with a pleasant film of moisture.
This cream does have considerable scent and it does tend to stick around for a while. However, it is a nice, classy floral scent so shouldn't be too unpleasant. It may even serve as a delicate eau de toilette fragrance if you don't opt for something strong.
I tend to use this cream at night and when I get up in the morning I find the moisture firmly remaining on my skin. This is not the 'hovering' type of remain of other more oily cream but the soaked in moisture.
Use in moderation; you really don't need all that much anyway and since this is as moisturising cream with tonnes of nutrition, overdose may lead to skin troubles.
It is said that this cream was designed to be anti-aging, however, it doesn't seem to contain any particular ingredients that may tackle fine lines or anything.
Hence, it would be safe to say that this is a lasting moisturising cream that is not oily. Read the complete review |

Helena Rubinstein Life Pearl Cellular
by Dina Lozi
It's too expensive but it's worth each penny, it's the best product I tried in years, I have a combination of oily/dry skin which became so rough and course in the past few years due to health problems, three days after starting using HR Life Pearl i felt the difference, my skin became so soft and my face started to bloom so fresh I love ... it!
I have tried so many products in the past. HR Prodigy is great as well and not as expensive, so if you don't need a condensed skin treatment due to medical condition my advice to you is to start using Prodigy and I'm sure %100 u'll love it.
I used most of the anti-aging products in the market, I waisted lots of money looking for the perfect solution and at last i fount it. I used HR expressionist and HR collagensit few years ago, both are great and i do recomment them if you start having wrinkles or expression lines round your mouth and eyes. Read the complete review |

Helena Rubinstein Power A Day
by Claudine_nine
I was a little skeptical using this product because of the retinol content, but the fact that it contained a sunscreen convinced me that it would be safe for my skin. Living in New Zealand means protection, protection, protection as we expose our skin to some of the most harmful UV rays on earth.
I have now been using Power A for ... just on a month and I am very happy with the condition of my skin. I have a more even skin tone (I have been prone to redness) and my fine lines have disappeared, also my facial muscles seem more relaxed which is brilliant for crows feet. At this point I must mention that I have been using HR Power A in the morning and Lancome Resolution D-Contraxol at night so it is difficult to tell which product is dealing with my lines (to be honest I don't really care, I am a results based girl and I have my results!). One thing I will say is a couple of my friends have commented on the scent, now I think it is fine but it is present and it may not be to everyones liking. Also there is some shine upon intial application but this does disappear within 20 mins (probably less on dryer skins, I have dry to combination skin).
I am now looking into purchasing more skincare in the HR range as my budget allows.
