Philips MC-145:
... into Tesco s looking for a stereo was something I hadn t contemplated, but seeing as my previous hi-fi just went boom, I just had to go out and see what was on the market. There was a reasonable choice of mini-systems, micro-systems and stereos out there piled on the shelves, but I didn t know which one to go for. I looked at the price tags and finally settled on my choice of the Philips MC-145 for little ... Read the full review: Beautiful noise maker? by cuteygirl |

Sony CMT NEZ50 ... great product, if your looking for a good hi-fi with good quality sound even at high volume then this would be a great buy for you. It can play tapes and cds, and the radio, cds go in the top and tapes in the front. You can see from the picture that you can have the speaker covers off or on to adjust how you want it to look. Either way it looks good, because the design of the whole thing is excellent. It goes quite loud (plenty loud enough for an large room, but perhaps not for a disco, but i don t think its really intended for a disco anyway), it plays cd-r and rws and mp3 cds. I don t play tapes so i can t comment on that but the cd player part delivers excellent soun... Read the full review: A fantastic hi-fi by kompendium |

Technics SC-DV290 ... is a system I owned a while ago but as I saw an advert for it recently I figured it must still be going strong so I decided to do a review on it. The Technics SCDV290 set me back nearly £300 a few years back but I see it can now be purchased for the much more modest sum of £179.99. This system comes in four stacking parts consisting of the tuner, the tape decks (which are pretty much redundant these days), the 5xdvd player and the Dolby 5.1 amplifier. The system comes with a very simple to understand installation and users guide which makes it very easy to install. The system itself is very durable and both feels and looks expensive, the cables and connections howe... Read the full review: The all round for surround sound! by thebigc1690 |
