... to all you AIWA fans,,,,im not sure if its just me or not but since ive had my AIWA XH-1000 ive had to get the display fixed twice on it and its really starting to get on my nerves because the system itself is a great peace of machinery but every time it gets fixed it goes again approx six months down the line,,,,im just wondering if any other person is having the same trouble with there system,,,,,with the slight set back of the display not working ill still give it these rating 1):looks: 8/10 2):sound: 9/10 3):power: 10/10-even though it can be over powering at times,,, TOTALLY GREAT MACHINE AND A SUPERB BUY,,,,,,,,,,,!...

... is an awesome piece of gear. It pumps out loud enough for anyone. With a build-in 3 Band Equalizer, there is never a bassline too soft and never a melodic line unrecognized. The EQ can have your own presets installed and recalled in a second. The speaker quality is amazing, a nice crisp sound. It comes with a Game Input, allowing you to run sound from your Consoles or PC through the System. A very helpful feature. 3 CD Changeable, 2x Tape deck with CD to Tape recording, AM/FM Tuner and Game functions. 3mm headphone jack. ... am considering buying this unit for my home and storing my full CD collection on it. The main thing that is putting me off is the storage capacity, 40GB, I don t think this would be big enough for my collection. I wonder why Philips produce a good looking unit and then install a miniscule HDD in it, if Apple can produce an ipod with 60GB storage then why can t Philips increase the storage capacity of this unit??? Before any comments come back saying that Philips are releasing another unit, WACS5 with a 80GB HDD, I would still like the opportunity to purchase the WACS700 with a bigger capacity as in my opinion it is more aesthetically pleasing.
