Technics SH-EH500 ... this HiFi when it was first realised. Looked smart and had the added feature that each component was separate, so that if one failed it could be replaced or fixed without the whole HiFi being scraped. Sound quality is brilliant and volume is very loud. Base can be changed along with the other sound tweaks. Two tape decks are inbuilt and have the added feature of recording to blank tapes. Remote control is powerful with a good range. Inbuilt areal is good but personally bought another aerial to aid the signal quality. JVC UX EP25E ... make some nice equipment these days and i purchased this mini hifi for a number of reasons. Firstly its reall compact in size, the main unit being 7cm high and toward 24cm in length. The speakers are also micro sized too, which is a bonus if you dont have much room. Setting up the JVC system is simple, once you have it out the box you connect the two speakers as normal, one red wire and one black for each speaker. These clip straight into the back of the main unit, the same goes for the aerials for the radio too. Then plug it in and turn it on. Sony Giga Juke NAS-E35HD ... love this system it comes complete with a cd player, 80 gb hard drive and DAB digital radio. The great thing about this system is that you can load all of the CDs you own on to it and so you can find all your favourite music in the one place without having to hunt through an endless amount of CD cases before you find the right CD you are looking for! Each CD you download on to the system it automatically recognises the songs so you do not have to maually enter them so as they can be seen on the display.
