Sony MHC EC50:
... Top quality. Bought it a couple of years ago now in Argos, for just under £100.00 and it shows no sign of age at all. Very hearty and powerful, with various settings to fit musical needs. It will happily play MP3 files and you can plug in your MP3 player so a mate can share the music they have in their pockets with you! It has Auxillary functions so that means you can rig up a T.V set and have extra surround ... Read the full review: Built to last by the looks of it by loopyloki |

Sony MHC EC68 ... this hi fi for Christmas and i think its amazing, this ting absolutely rocks. I was looking for a really powerful system for sub £200 and also from a well known brand and i defiantly found it. There are two versions of this hi fi, the more expensive being around £199 but it also contains a huge sub woofer, this is the system that i got of course. The main reason i got it was for party s because it is immensely loud and very impressive. If you can find a good drum and bass song then this thing will shake every window and mirror in the house. It works well as a normal hi fi just for playing casual music, i also used to hook it up to my TV with the auxiliary port and... Read the full review: Loud and Proud by Assassin4273 |

Philips FW M355 ... have this HiFi System for more than two years. Surprisingly, I have not had any negative experiences with it yet. It works just like it did when I bought it. What I noticed first was the Eco Power. When you are not using it, turn Eco Power on. It will only use 4 W/h. I like the 3-disc tray. It is quite handy if you do not like changing CDs. You can just leave it in there and put another one in. The tuner is also pretty good. I can receive a lot of channels. Some of them are not even supposed to be availible in my area. The Dynamic Bass Boost and the Digital Sound Control are pretty handy as well. If you like bass you can turn it up a little. If you do not like it, ... Sony CHC-CL1 ... Remote Control (requires 2 x AA batteries) 3 x CD changer Top loading Cassette Player FM/AM radio 2 x 40 watt Stereo speakers Optical output on the rear perfect for to connect your iPod and higher quality than usual stereo jack. *Description* The combined unit and speakers take up quite a lot of room, and there are far smaller units these days, but considering its age you really cannot complain. The speakers connect by the usual black and red split cables, and the mains cable is fixed into the back of the main unit with a standard black plug on the end. The speakers themselves under the blue fabric covers (which are removable) also look good with a large c... Read the full review: Truly high quality stereo by bertles86 |
