Philips FW-C280 ... I love listening to music and my old stero system was starting to get a little out of date. I bought my old sony system around 6 years ago and it is getting too small and old to satisfy my musicial needs. I thought I would make a change from a Sony product and I saw this and was instantly intrested. The requirements that a system had to have to satisfy me was that it had to have a tape deck, be able to play CD's and CD-R's and a minimum of a 3 CD-changer, but obviously it had to sounds great and not break my budget. I Decided to treat myself to a Christmas present and what better than a new Hi-Fi, the one I chose was the Philips C280 This Hi-Fi is described, as a mini but in fact is more in-between mini and standard. It is silver in design with silver and black speakers, made up of a CD player, tuner and twin tape deck with lots more features added. Technics SC-DV250 ... are seen as one of the top makes in consumer hifi. the SC-DV250 is a very unique system: it is a mini system in the form of separates. there are 4 main units: A 3 band tuner and amplifier, A twin cassette, a graphic equaliser / sound processor and a 5 disc DVD player....thats right, a DVD player. This is not your average Tape/CD/Radio system, it also acts as a home cinema with Dolby Digital surround sound comming out of 5 speakers. the only thing lacking is a separate subwoofer but Technics have added 2 low frequency effects channels into the backs of the main speakers. talking of which, they are in a high quality black ash unit and are 3 way. the 4...
