TaraG Sony MHC-NX1: ... MHC NX1 I bought the Sony MHC NX1 just under a year ago from Comet, and in the last six months i have numerous problems with it. The CD’s get jammed, the tape deck no longer works. It has a very bad radio reception. I am no longer covered by warranty because i had to open it up to retrieve a jammed cd. I now need to buy a new one. It was a complete waste of money. I hope you have more luck wit...

Toyota_MR2_Guy Technics SC-DV170
... on this beast from Technics and you will not be disappointed! As soon as you open the box and remove the elegant silver componenets you will know you have bought the best. The first thing you notice is how easy it is to set up.You cannot put the plugs in the wrong way round because they wont go! Once you get the system set up a quick touch of the power button lights up the displays and your ready to blast the house walls down! With its class H+ amplifier this system can be cranked onto full volume without any distortion or nasty spikes in the music. The Amp has two power supplys so when one starts to overload the other one kicks in to feed more power to the transis...

Chris_M_Day Sharp DP 2500H
... ======= Setting this unit up was easy, thanks to the user manual and quick-start guide. All speaker wires were the correct colour (which isn't always true) and there is a Test Tone to ensure that everything is working correctly. Features ====== The tuner section has everything you could possibly want, including the EON implementation of RDS, including Program Type search. As long as you have all of your local radio stations entered into the preset slots (of which there are 40), you'll be able to find any type of station (for example put in Classical, and it'll find Classic FM). There is also a clock, so it can if you wish be used as an...

seanblee Panasonic SC-AK 47
... bought an SC-AK47 stereo about 18 months ago, and I haven't looked back since! The system is reliable, has an exceptional sound quality with output power to match (240W RMS, 360W PMPO), and IMHO looks nicer than the current SC-AK4x that's out. The unit comes with an IR remote which controls pretty much everything you could want it to (except ejecting CD and tape, but why would you want to do that from a distance anyway!?). The remote range is pretty good, which is nice. The speakers are bi-wired, which simply means there are two pairs of wires to each one, one pair for mid-range and high-frequency sounds, and one pair for the sub-woofers, quaintly described by...
