I've had his hifi system for over a year now and I am still very happy with it. I have a large amount of faith in Aiwa and I am keen to buy their products again. This system, which is an updated version of the NSX S303, cost me £160.00 from Argos. It has a 3CD changer, double tape decks, and video and radio sections. It has useful features like CD Edit, which arranges tracks on a CD so they fit well onto a tape and dont leave big gaps at the end of a side. The speakers are one of the main highlights of the product. There are 2 which come in the box and ports for 4 more to be added. These speakers have 16cm built in subwoofer and a 9cm tweeter. The ... The NSX-S555 from Aiwa is a superb hi-fi. It features a 3-disc multi-changer, double tape deck and a digital tuner with loads of presets. What is really good, given the reasonable price is the inclusion of powerful 4-way speakers complete with sub-woofers. And believe me, get a tune with some big bass and pump up the volume and you can feel this baby move. One area that it does let down is higher frequency sounds, the speakers are fine for mid-low range but with no tweaters they can be a bit flat on the slower more instrumental tunes, and the hi-fi is clearly out performed by lower priced rivals in this range.
