Aiwa XR-M11:
... year we bought two hi-fis, both by Aiwa. One was the NSX-S555 (also reviewed on this site) and the other the XR-M11. The XR-M11 is a mini hi-fi, featuring he usual cd player, tuner and single tape. But what is noy usual is the quality of the sound this unit produces. It features a system called Q-Sound Virtual Surround Sound, and it actually works, sounding almost as good as surround sound system itself. The ... Read the full review: Good sound!! by rob_writer |

Aiwa NSX-S555 ... NSX-S555 from Aiwa is a superb hi-fi. It features a 3-disc multi-changer, double tape deck and a digital tuner with loads of presets. What is really good, given the reasonable price is the inclusion of powerful 4-way speakers complete with sub-woofers. And believe me, get a tune with some big bass and pump up the volume and you can feel this baby move. One area that it does let down is higher frequency sounds, the speakers are fine for mid-low range but with no tweaters they can be a bit flat on the slower more instrumental tunes, and the hi-fi is clearly out performed by lower priced rivals in this range. An optional set of extra speakers solves this however, mak... Read the full review: A great hi-fi by rob_writer |

Aiwa NSX-S777 ... am not a tight person but I dont like paying money for a different name. I loved this SONY HI-FI that I saw, £600! Then I looked at the AIWA next to it. Exactly the same spec just one thing different, SONY sign replaced with an AIWA. It has the usual, 2 tape decs, 3 CD multichanger, radio (FM, AM and LW). I thought it was a bargain at £130. It is infact a basic machine but when buy friends are spending £250 pounds more for basically the same thing, I feel pleased that I have an extra £250 to spend on........extra music? A good buy. ... Aiwa NSX-S777 ... little nifty machine has the normal... 2 Tape Decks, 3 CD changer, Radio (FM, MW and LW). There is also a thing saying Karaoke on it, meaning you can plug a microphone into it.. wooooo... With the stereo I got 2 speakers with Sub-Woofers, All the flashy lights that come as standard on any Aiwa system.. Good sound, plays CD-R cd's, hasnt broken down on me in over a year. Id say this was a superb CD Player at the £130 I paid for it. ... Read the full review: Aiwa'd buy One by abanville |
