Advantages: Excellent sound, good price, reliable and a chance to own some denon

Disadvantages: Poor remote control, Disappointing at loud volume.

I have owned this system for more than a year now and i still rate it as one of the best buys in the last 2 years for the price range. I have upgraded the audio cables for gold plated ones and also the speaker wire which looked disappointingly cheap.

The system produces excellent clarity and this is the system for you if you are looking for quality as opposed to quantity. Remember the more they spend on flashing lights and jazzy buttons the less they spend on the sound quality of the system!

The system produces excellent undertones of base without drowning the treble and is a good enough size to provide audio satisfaction in a medium sized room.

On the down side when it is turned up to louder volumes or if the bass and treble is affected it can sound almost distorted , it seems to have trouble differentiating between the sounds with "busy" music but does fine with jazz, classical and some blues.

On the downside the remote control is disappointing and i think more thought could have gone into it.

Summary: An excellent budget system but does not compare to a seperates sound system for a similar price.
