Advantages: Cheaper than alot of similar items on the market
Disadvantages: Cannot use controller for i-pod
I have owned my i-syphony for around two years now and overall I think it is a great HiFi system.
I looked around for a while for a HiFi system that I could dock my i-pod into but also play CD's and listen to the radio as well. This system was one of the cheapest on the market at the time which is why I decided to go for it.
I especially like the look of this particular HiFi, it is very compact and also quite light which makes it easy to transport. (It has come with me to many a party before)
It comes with a couple docks for your i-pod so you can dock all generations (Until recently I had the first generation i-pod which works in this as well as the newer ones)
The one thing I don't like about this system though is that you can't use the controller on the i-pod, only on the CD or Radio stations. This is a bit of a pain as you need to have a decent playlist on your i-pod otherwise you may be getting up to change the music quite alot.
Sound wise this really is the biz for such a small HiFi. It is incredibly loud and powerful (although I am no techy so not sure how it would measure up agains't it's counterparts) but for general music playing and parties it's excellent and well worth the money.
Summary: Very good overall system
