Advantages: Charges iPods, decent sound quality, powerful, good remote control.

Disadvantages: DAB confusing, not as crisp as a higher quality stereo

Paid £120 for this system a year ago and am astonished to see it (or something very similar to it, not sure if it is the same model) drop down to £40. £120 is arguably a little overprice. The sound quality is powerful and good, although not as crisp and striking as a Bose Docking Station or a B&W Zeppelin....but then it isn't £400! Nonetheless, £120 is maybe too much, but for £40 it is a bargain and a must by.

It docks and charges the latest iPods (I have a 5th Gen 120gb Classic), and the remote control has all the usual functions for them to allow them to work. It also has DAB, although I find the controls somewhat confusing and never actually managed to get all my stations locked into it.

It also has a USB or memory card slot if you don't have an iPod. Design wise it looks quite sleek, with a nice blue glow coming from the volume slot and the disc drive (if you still own CDs!).

Summary: A good middle of the market stereo, now at a good price
