This is all thanks to the exclusive DirectDrive pole speakers housed inside the round aluminum enclosures. These extremely slim speakers are capable of an extended high-frequency response and rich ambience. The FS-SD1000R's full-range speakers feature strong, exceptionally lightweight high-polymer diaphragms with ribbed design for a smooth horizontal spread, extending the optimum listening area. The added ribs and slim enclosure ensure a broad directivity and high definition. These speakers are driven with high power and efficiency by a pair of high-energy neodymium magnets, each 14 times more powerful than a ferrite magnet of comparable size. Bass frequencies are covered by a separate subwoofer driven by an exclusive amp and an efficient edgewise-wound 8-layer voice coil.
