***MY ENGAGEMENT WITH HER. [5/5]***
________________________________

WILL YOU MARRY ME? Would have been the first thing I would have blurted if the KENWOOD HM602 were alive. She was proudly seated in her throne adorning a tiara when I went to the Kenwood Outlet to get my Kenwood Food Processor ( 1982 Model ) checked. Though the store manager could not help me with the FP, he did let me have a feel of the HM602. Was she good? Man, she was BRILLIANT with that Pseudo classical look she?s got, she could fit into any décor. Just scroll down to see the detailed review: -

***HOW SHE SOUNDS. [4/5]***
_________________________

This is the reason why I want to marry her! She sounds great, her bass really rocks your heart ( did rock mine ) & punch your teeth. The bass is really kind of euphoric though you can?t adjust it very accurately according to you needs. Its not very dry nor very moisturized, has a lot of depth and sufficient extension & is quite fast. The mids are placed exactly in the center and imaging is excellent. The highs are really good though not the spine chilling kind, but can freeze you for a moment or two. Sound effects are very prominent like with every environment setting you get to feel the difference in the kind of sound that is being delivered. Though the power output of 2 X 20 Watts RMS is not all that impressive the engineers at Kenwood have done a commendable job. So she gets 4 roses CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP.

***IS SHE SEXY. [5/5]***

She sure is sexy. You can see that in the pic above. Caught my eye before I could step into the store. The Graphite finish with wood exteriors was like Fusion music to my eyes. Now , I am gonna kick the guy who tells me she?s no good, he mu
st be blind or MAD. She deserves the 5 roses I have given (though Roses are quite expensive nowadays ). And BOYS, don?t let me catch you with your pants down Eh!. Hahaha. {No Offense}.

***SHE IS DELICATE. [3/5]***
_______________________

Build quality is something very important to those who keep changing houses. This is where the HM602 let me down though not to hell. The speaker cabinets are very sturdy & heavy & strong, But the remote control and the unit are quite delicate. The remote could develop a crack with a fall & the unit body is kind of soft if i must express it that way, press it with a little pressure & it goes in a bit, tap it & it gives a brittle sound. So don?t keep anything on the unit, anything at all. I was tapping a bit hard when the store manager nearly caught my hand. I could understand it through his eyes, he was kind of afraid I would break her. So she gets only 3 Roses.

***EASE OF USE. [4/5]***
____________________

The HM602 is quite simple to handle, a piece of cake to be exact. The only problem is with the remote. I can?t understand why remotes are so tough to design, it maybe difficult for us but surely not for Kenwood. If you have a comfortable universal remote then I suggest you to better use it at least for the basic functions. The keys on the unit are smooth but not the Feather-Touch kind which can be quite irritating sometimes due to accidental operation. And for this The HM602 gets 4 roses.

***MY OPINION. [4/5]***
___________________

For the great looks & sound that too at such a low price tag, the HM602 certainly deserves at least 4 roses if not 5. If you are out to buy her then don?t you wait!
But if you want more features then you surely will find a better System for some bucks more. But if you want Kenwood & love fusion styling then the Kenwood HM602 is just the right audio solution for you at this price.

WILL YOU MARRY ME PLEASE HM602????? ( I can?t help it can I? )

An excellent review for what sounds like a great system.
Kenwood stuff is great - I have a Kenwood Hi-Fi separate CD Player and I love it :)

I think my girlfriend would kill me if I suggested marrying my HiFi though :D
