Panasonic SC AK630EG-S
by bib_20
this is a very stylish stereo, very powerfull i play it often bought it about 2 years ago for £200 the Panasonic SC-AK630EG-S is a 5 disk changer with two speakers that power out 450 watt and a massive 16cm sub woofer in the speakers it has two mini subs,it has a dot matrix display, it has a few little functions such as album changer and ... title search
, it will play all music as it has a multiple genre selection, on the front of the stereo it has two cassette players. The 3-way front speakers make the sound more realistic than i had expected from my old system The external subwoofer offers two tone settings (mid and max) and then the system with the function H. BASS offers a lot of what I expect to have from other higher priced systems, the volume of the sterio goes up to 110 decibel. The function of MP3 CD playback I was very pleased that it allows me to accommodate many tracks on limited space and playThe dimensions of the system seem to be perhaps a bit exaggerated, but they are not (System: 25cm x 33cm x 34,1 cm; Speakers: 24cm x 33cm x 23cm; Subwoofer: 24cm x 33cm x 26.7 cm, fit nicely onto a shelf i use this sterio in my room and its that loud and has such a high bass that my room shakes and even my clothes
this system has bi amp which is the practice of using two audio amplifier channels to power a loudspeaker with multiple drivers and
this system has bi wiring is running two lengths of cable between the power amplifier and loudspeakers. This technique usually produces much better sound
a built in raidio to boost the value of owning this system in the box you get the system and power leads along with the remote which has all the functions on it that the stereo has so u dont have to go to the stereo to do everything you have to be carefull with the sub and not have it to close to a wall as at the back it has hole that pushes air out of it and it sent it flying accross my room
this is an amazin stereo for what you paying for it in two years it has never broke on me and i have even moved it from house to house a caution is that it is very loud and could easly cause ear damage not to mension actuall damage from the sub as it narrowly missed my head. Panasonic SC-PM 03
by JayBlack
Great sound, great volume: great Hi-Fi.
That's almost enough said already.
Easy to wire up, easy to get started with. Even at the highest volumes (and they're loud enough to have a decent house party with) it still retains its sound quality. The radio will pick up any major stations and any others you might want to tune in to, ... then set them to the numbers on the remote and you can have all your favourites at the press of a button.
You can play CDs, an MP3 player (although it will drain their battery quite quickly), or hook it up to a laptop and place the speakers accordingly to have your very own (budget) surround sound system!
It even provides its own ambiance lighting for those days when you feel the need for some chill out time with friends or alone.
A device for any household, anytime; it's simple to use and simply great with any level of sound. Read the complete review |

Panasonic SC-HC30DBEBS DAB Micro System with iPod Dock
by dmg73
I bought the Panasonic SC-HC30DBEBS as a recent birthday present for my sister after weeks of research. She was more interested in a hi-fi system that was small, pretty, and allowed her to plug in her iPod. She has been very pleased with the gift and after installing it and playing with it I have to say that I made a good ... choice.
The Panasonic is one of the best looking micro systems around and really adds a touch of class to a room. It is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The system has an ingenious sliding door at the front that hides both the CD tray and an iPod (if you have one attached).
The sound reproduction from the Panasonic is above average for a unit of this price and the volume level is more than adequate for a medium-sized room. The system has 5 preset graphic equalizers so you have the ability to choose your favourite sound. Personally, I found this a bit restrictive and would have liked to have seen a wider range of equalizer presets.
Another minor gripe is the radio. While being DAB the aerial strength appears to be quite weak and the unit's radio reception at my sister's home was unsatisfactory. This may be due top a weak DAB reception in the area but her last stereo encountered no issues with signal, so it may be down to the Panasonic. I read a few reviews where people have had no problems so it may be wise to check the strength of DAB signals in your area before buying this product (if radio is important to you).
The radio staions are also stored in alphabetical order which is a bit annoying. I (and my sister!) would have preferred the option to assign favourite radio stations to the initial settings. Having to flick through numerous stations to locate Radio 1 is a minor pain.
Radio aside, the Panasonic SC-HC30DBEBS is a great product. The iPod docking function is excellent (it actually charges your iPod when docked) and the remote control is able to control the majority of important features. Oh, one other point to be aware of...the controls on the actual system are located on the top of the machine so if you think you will need to access these remember not to place the Panasonic above eye level!
To summarise: This is a great looking product that is well-built and has plenty of useful features. The sound reproduction is very good and it would make a wonderful accessory to any music-lovers household. Read the complete review |
