The Philips MCM239 is a multi-purpose built hifi. It can play from USb which is extremely handy at social gatherings, from an ipod which makes most of the CD's in my collection redundant now and it can also play the standard CD format. Also included is a digital radio which tunes at the push of a button on the included remote. The remote is extremely handy and seems to work well over long distances and has all the usual features including a source button so you can switch instantly from a CD to an Ipod.
