Advantages: Small, compact, affordable with lots of extra features
Disadvantages: sound quality not the best
I bought the Philips MCB204 a few days ago for my daughters bedroom. Its a really sleek and stunning piece of kit for the price.
You'd expect to pay almost the asking price just for a dab radio let alone all the great extras included such as usb memory stick support, CD ( including MP3/WMA-CD and rewritable ones) plus a tape deck just for good measure.
Also comes with a remote control , timer, and X bass function as standard.
For the more technically minded it has aux input, headphone jack and usb.
A neat feature of this model is that when you plug in equipment using the usb interface you can control the device from the remote control unit itself. Great!
So those of you with an ipod, what are you waiting for??
Small. neat, compact and contemporary looking, with stylish looks, the Philips MCB204 DAB is perfect for the children's bedroom or for that little bit of music in the kitchen.
The sound quality isn't amazing, but thats not surprising due to its price and size but is more than adequate for use around the house.
Summary: affordable ,cool looking with graet features

- 22/01/09 It would be good to know exactly how easy it is to use this Hifi from its controls (especially for DAB) and the UK price. Also if its so easy to use around the house does this mean its easy to transport? If you update your review please message me. |
