... husband bought me this for Christmas. I was really chuffed when I saw what it was. It looks nice and it sounds pretty good too. You have a tape deck on the bottom which is useful for listening to those old compilations you made years ago!! Tape cassettes are so old fashioned but I still like to listen to some of those old tapes I bought when I was younger... The system is lightweight and easy to move about..... Philips MCB204 DAB ... remember buying this a long time ago and i thought that it looked quite good and stylish. It was for use in the kitchen, but it really did shine in the place i thought it looked really nice. When we used it i felt that it was simply not picking up all the right stations and i found it quite difficult to use in terms of the buttons for the tape recorder and the DAB receiver failing to pick up crucial radio stations like Asian Sound radio for example for me. I thought that it was quite nice looking but i did notice when i put my hand on the thing it smudged and my fingerprint remained on it. Philips MC M277 ... i love the overall design of this hifi system. Its very modern and sheek. Also the sound quality is fantastic and the volume is quite loud. It is very easy to set up and to function. Its very easy to slide in a cd, Its goes in smoothly and swiftly. Also i like the way how it stands up and is in one piece. It makes it much easier to place and makes it more handy. And much more practical. Also the remote control is also easy to use. The buttons are easy to press and is very simple. Also the colour code of this hifi system is very trendy and sophisticated. The black and the metal looks really good together. Overall i think that this hifi system is a great buy and worth... Philips FW-C80 ... first proper stereo after borrowing my parents one for a while when i was living at home and I must have owned this stereo now for 7 years and to be frank it has been fantastic, i listened to a couple fo stereos i liked in the store and this one just sung out sound quality and also had the fantastic speaker on top for extra bass. Philips call it Woox technology, whatever that means, I just know it sounds great because you have yous tweeter for high range, main speaker for midrange and the one on top for serious bassage.
