This system is amazing I have had mine for some time now but have had no problems. The sound quality is amazing as are the looks it would be very hard to find a Hi-Fi with more WOW factor. The sound is superb and with the little Stereo Wide function pressed its even better. The range of volume is amazing turn this up high and you could well see your house shake to bits around you, but set it low and it provides great background music its great. The CD slide is incredible there is no other system where the CD Draw is a main feature but on this when u press the remote and the window glides down everyone in the room turns to see what happened and more often that not they want a go (same with the tape deck) The separate amp is great with a great little sound gage, which informs you if the music that you?re playing is so loud that the impending destruction of your house is imminent. The little needle flick back and forth with the music, a great little touch. You must get one of these.
I think this stereo is the best as it has great bass and cool sound. The bass has tremendous ability of making your floor to vibrate. This stereos sound is great because it goes up to 37, but even when it’s only on 13 you feel like you are in a club. The recording quality is very good, as the tape you have just recorded on sounds like it was specially made. The stereo is really nice silver, which in my opinion goes really well with light blue. Another thing I really do like about this hi fi is the way the cd cover comes down. You can do this from the remote control or on the stereo itself. A new thing is that instead of the tape compartment being like a fold down door, it is now a tray, which pops out, with the click of a button. The tape quality is so clear I thought I had put a cd in. this is great compared to other tape players because most of the other ones I have had sound really bad. There is a sleep timer on the stereo, which is great for me because I can never get up in the morning. The radio is another great thing. The reception is as clear as anything I just can't explain it to you. The stereo is easy too move and quite light. I move it around my room in different places every week (well, nearly every week!). The cables are easy to install even though there are quite a few. The instruction manual really helps you to put all of them in the correct place. When I first got the stereo home I thought it would be a total nightmare setting it up but I was wrong, it was a dream come true. It could not have been any easier than it was for me. My old stereo was very hard to set-up as it had absolutely tons of wires. This stereo still has quite a few but not allot if you really think about it. Overall I really like this stereo and I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you for reading my opinion and I really hope you like it.
I bought this stereo almost a year ago now, and to date I've had no problems with it. As a university student I do move around quite a bit (between Uni, home and summer work) and I take my stereo with me, so its quite easy to pack up and move. The cables between all the different pieces (amp, cd player and speakers) are quite long so you can pretty much split it up and put it wherever theres a space. When I first bought the IS series, the salesman told me that the IS series didn't have hundreds of features like other stereos you buy for £300, but it looks great no matter where you put it - and it's true! I get comments on it all the time. The slidey door mechanism is a selling point all on its own! The blue and silver look is very cool. But apart from the looks, the sound quality is fantastic. With two 'line ins' and two 'line outs' you can plug a couple of external players to it. I play all my Mp3s through it and they sound great. With 100 watts RMS at my disposal, if I want loud music - I got it! . I think it was worth the money I paid for it and I'm sure I'll have many more happy years with it!
