Disadvantages: Obsolete!

Although this system is now obsolete, there are some retailers with units left. For current NS-5 or NS-5T owners, some Currys stores have stocks of the MJ-L5 minidisc component that goes with them on offer for around £40. You have to ask them to do a stock search, but it's well worth it as a cheap way into the minidisc revolution.
Two years on from buying my original system I'm still delighted with my purchase and now I have been able to move into minidisc I'm even more pleased.
