	Pioneer NS-8 ... managed to get the basic NS-8 for £169.00 from Argos, they were obviously having a problem selling it, though it does seem expensive at over £400 for a CD/Tuner, at 169 it's a bargain. The main unit is no bigger than a shoebox and houses a three channel channel power amp, left, right and woofer, a CD deck and a RDS EON tuner, the control unit is tethered by a 2m cord and comprises a blue flouresecent display and a detachable remote (clap your hands and it bleeps back, great for when you loose it down the settee !) 	Pioneer NS-5 ... this system is now obsolete, there are some retailers with units left. For current NS-5 or NS-5T owners, some Currys stores have stocks of the MJ-L5 minidisc component that goes with them on offer for around £40. You have to ask them to do a stock search, but it's well worth it as a cheap way into the minidisc revolution. Two years on from buying my original system I'm still delighted with my purchase and now I have been able to move into minidisc I'm even more pleased. 	Pioneer IS 21T ... think this stereo is the best as it has great bass and cool sound. The bass has tremendous ability of making your floor to vibrate. This stereos sound is great because it goes up to 37, but even when it’s only on 13 you feel like you are in a club. The recording quality is very good, as the tape you have just recorded on sounds like it was specially made. The stereo is really nice silver, which in my opinion goes really well with light blue. Another thing I really do like about this hi fi is the way the cd cover comes down. You can do this from the remote control or on the stereo itself.
