... so included it in this unit. The mini disc slot meant you could record anything onto an actual disc as opposed to tape. This was great because the quality was so much better. Plus you could fit more data onto this than conventional cds and tapes. Not only that but you could re-write the disc at any point at any time! 3disc cd changer - Now this one confuses me. I dont quite understand how the cds fit and work in the hifi. All i know is that there are three trays to hold 3 discs. The rest i have concluded is magic...more

This Sony Hifi was bought a few years ago now, but even by todays standards is top class. First off its Sony, comes in a choice of two colours. Either black with a blue lit up dial or silver with an orange one. The two speakers have purple/blue mesh covers which are easy to take off or leave on. But here is where the benefits start for me. I love well designed classy good looking products. Now to be frank this example of Sony’s abilities isn’t its best looking and is no Bang and Olufson. But still it looks good and displayed well has a great look and feel to it. The light blending of blue and silver gives the typical Sony hi-tech edge but manages to keep it simple. Sound quality on this untamed beast isn’t awesome but then to ...  Read the complete review
