... and price, the audio quality is really not up to much due to the poor quality speakers provided.
The system is very 'bass light' even with the added 'bass boost' and the speakers sound quite 'boxy' which is rather a shame bacause using this system on a pair of Gale 4i floorstanding speakers, the Sony does perform slightly better although there is still a massive lack of 'bass' and it strains to deliver the goods!...more

Pros: This system looks very stylish, neat and compact for a shelf system. I like the way Sony have detailed this system as completely 'fuss free' with absolutely minimal frills. To look at this system, it looks expensive and has a great finish in either 'piano' black or 'soft' white with matching speakers to co-ordinate with each colour. The system incorporates a front loading CD player, AM/FM tuner with the added bonus of a USB input for a memory stick and or a direct input from a PC to play media library music files.
