Most controls are intuitive, except for one. The clock. After a power outage, it is difficult to set the clock. The display is difficult for me. More contrast would help at night. The alarms and timers are easy.
The radio reception is good. The antennae supplied in the kit do the job well.

I've had my ep313 for about 2 years. The sound quality is quite good. I listen at low volumes and can still hear detail. So far, all features have functioned without fail. The remote is a must. The remote doesn't control the tape. I'm not sure if this is a malfunction or an unsupported feature. (didn't matter to me) Most controls are intuitive, except for one. The clock.
