Superb, I'm very impressed and I typically hate Sony (Sony CMT EX1)

Advantages: Super small size with big sound

Disadvantages: Hardly any bad points

Excellent micro (not mini) system. It sounds superb for its size and even has full bass. I've had this about 7 years now and still love it. My ratings below reflect the system compared with anything else its size, not compared with say a high end system. I only wish it had mp3 on cd playback ability, but this is an old system so that stuff wasn't really available back then. You can connect an mp3 player or what not to the inputs easily though. If you can pick a used one of these up in good condition, it's a gem of a find! I don't know what these cost when they were new like 8 years or so ago, but being a Sony microsystem it was probably very much overpriced, but I saw one used on Amazon.com for only $50, so its a steal at that price. I lost my remote but use a Logitech Harmony remote to replace the original one which I like better - so all the functions are still there. This is important because just about everything is controlled via the remote except the most basic of functions. The only nitpick I can think of is that the touch sensor for the eject button is super sensitive - if you barely brush it, the cd will eject. But that's being super picky. Build quality and sound quality will make you smile.

Summary: THE best microsystem of its size I've seen/heard.
