Advantages: Many features, Compact, Crisp sounding

Disadvantages: Weak(ish) bass, Short speaker cables

I needed a small system, with as much crammed in as possible, and a high quality sound. This system provides that, and looks great, too!

The quality of minidisc recording is excellent, and the tuner is also strong.

I like the line-in socket on the front, which is handy for connecting to a computer for playing MP3s through the speakers.

The Sony's been completely reliable, has impressed my friends, and is suitably *loud* when needed! My only quibble with the sound would be it lacks a bit of low-down punch, not surprising, given the compact speakers, I suppose.

I'd highly recommend this system!
