Should be better! I purchased an ex display model giga juke a year ago for £300. I loved the idea of the hard drive function and I thought it looked a very attractive piece of kit. Despite claims of accepting a wireless dongle, it only works with a certain type of sony dongle which I couldnt find anywhere!!! Uploading cds require the gigajuke to be networked to the internet. Although boring, I had no probs uploading cds to the unit and it took no longer than uploading to a normal computer. In my experience if found all track info without any problems. I bought the Sony giga juke hi-fi and was most disappointed.Although the sound quality is adequate for CDs it fails to achieve reasonable sound quality on radio reception.The juke box function fails on the basic task of name identification of individual tracks and entire albums which is not acceptable.The staff at Leeds Sony Centre were neither knowledgable nor helpful.The operating instruction booklet is 116 pages long and misleading.It is expensive and ineffective wasting my time and money.Setting up this complex piece of equipment is a challenge and a tiresome exercise with a futile result.The much vaunted listing system fails to produce the desired effect and is ...
