I brought this system earlier this year and it is a great little system for the price. We looked at a range of systems and felt that this was the best one for us based on the options and the price. I brought it on-line from Amazon for £215 when all the shops and many other on-line sites wanted £299 for it. It seemed a bit complicated to use at first, but once I got the hang of it it was fairly intuitive ( which is good, as one of the dogs has since chewed up the instructions,). What I think is really good about this is that I was able to copy all my CDs on to the 80 gig hard disk. The copying was time consuming, but I just set my self a target of doing about 10 or 20 CDs a day and would do a copy whilst I was doing other things. If I was cooking I would set a CD going and then go back and swap it when it had finished. I think at last count I had about 250 Cds on there and still have loads of space.

The sound is good and when the volume is turned up it gives a good sound out in ther garden. It looks nice where it is positioned because it is nice and small. It does not seem to gather much dust on it, although I have noticed cat paw prints on the shiney surface!! I am not a real HI FI buff, so don't know all the technical terms, but as a music lover it does exactly what I want. I can even plug in my IPod and play my genus lists. It also allows you to setup party mixes so you can just set it going.

Only one draw back is the short cables for the speakers. I know I can probably get longer ones, but I am not really sure how you go about doing that or what I should buy, so it would have helped to have had longer cable options included.

What is really great is that I can put all the CDS away safely and not have to waste space storing them in a CD cabinet. No Cds hanging around with out their cases. It is probably the best gadget I have brought this year
