After deciding I needed a cheap but reasonable stereo I found this. After getting it home I was more than impressed with what I had got for my money. For such a cheap stereo I was really impressed with the bass the speaker could produce beating other stereo that are twice the price. It looks very stylish as well, while no conforming to the new type of stereos that seem to be make it as small as possible even if you have to reduce the quality. This is a managable size but has one of the biggest volume controls i've ever seen. But this is no bad thing it makes the stereo look really good and this is the main focus point of it. The LED display and look good but is a bit too small. The control is very good and has all the right functions but it doesn't take much of an angle to make it not work meaning you might as well walk up to the stereo and change track ect there. All in all a very good stereo for the price.
Got this hi fi for Christmas and i think its amazing, this ting absolutely rocks. I was looking for a really powerful system for sub £200 and also from a well known brand and i defiantly found it.
There are two versions of this hi fi, the more expensive being around £199 but it also contains a huge sub woofer, this is the system that i got of course. The main reason i got it was for party's because it is immensely loud and very impressive. If you can find a good drum and bass song then this thing will shake every window and mirror in the house.
It works well as a normal hi fi just for playing casual music, i also used to hook it up to my TV with the auxiliary port and press the surround sound button so i basically had a home cinema system as well which is fantastic.
the display is easy to read and can hold 3 cds at a time, so less changing time, you can also change cds while 1 is still playing which is cool.
My only niggle is that if you run it loud for hours on end it can get really hot, and shut its self down to cool off.
Excellent system, plenty of options available. Sound quality is great, can be changed to loud or surround sound at the touch of a button. LED display is easy to read and see from a distance. Easy to use and change standard settings. Speakers are strong and whole system is sturdy but small enough to store. Would like more changable capability but 3 is adequate. Remote control is small and easy to use. Numbers on inside of CD interchanger are hard to see. Very modern colours and look. Easy for children to operate not easy for them to break. Recognises and plays all copied CD's. Radio quality is good, picks up easy and the aerial comes in a wire form so its easy to manipulate. Easy to clean without changing settings. Volume control is robust. Perfect for a bedroom stereo system. Light enough to store on a shelf. Good value for money.
