... started searching my bedroom for a hidden sub woofer but failed to find one. He was asking me how many watts is it per channel how many ohms is it????? well i didn t know myself but all i did know is that its sounds great!! and the fact that when i turn the volume up to half way the speakers doesn t even get nervous or distort and that should make this little system a winner on the high streets well done Sony....... Sony CMT EH10 ... couple of years ago we decided that the time had come to get rid of my old Hi Fi that had served me well for many years. It was just too cumbersome with its record deck that was never used so we decided to get one of the new small systems. It had to not only work well but also look good to fit in our lounge. We had a good look round and finally made our purchase from Currys getting a Sony CMTEH10 Hi-Fi Micro System, currently priced at £59.99. For this we got the central unit which is about 6 inches wide by 7 inches deep by 9 inches tall. This is silver in colour and houses all the actual hi fi equipment. Sony CMT BX3 ... This system looks very stylish, neat and compact for a shelf system. I like the way Sony have detailed this system as completely fuss free with absolutely minimal frills. To look at this system, it looks expensive and has a great finish in either piano black or soft white with matching speakers to co-ordinate with each colour. The system incorporates a front loading CD player, AM/FM tuner with the added bonus of a USB input for a memory stick and or a direct input from a PC to play media library music files. Sony CMT EX1 ... not compared with say a high end system. I only wish it had mp3 on cd playback ability, but this is an old system so that stuff wasn t really available back then. You can connect an mp3 player or what not to the inputs easily though. If you can pick a used one of these up in good condition, it s a gem of a find! I don t know what these cost when they were new like 8 years or so ago, but being a Sony microsystem it was probably very much overpriced, but I saw one used on Amazon.com for only $50, so its a steal at that price. I lost my remote but use a Logitech Harmony remote to replace the original one which I like better - so all the functions are still there. This is i...
