Advantages: WiFi Connectivity to upto 5 stations located around your living space

Disadvantages: Storage Capacity

I am considering buying this unit for my home and storing my full CD collection on it. The main thing that is putting me off is the storage capacity, 40GB, I don't think this would be big enough for my collection. I wonder why Philips produce a good looking unit and then install a miniscule HDD in it, if Apple can produce an ipod with 60GB storage then why can't Philips increase the storage capacity of this unit??? Before any comments come back saying that Philips are releasing another unit, WACS5 with a 80GB HDD, I would still like the opportunity to purchase the WACS700 with a bigger capacity as in my opinion it is more aesthetically pleasing. Come on Philips get your finger out. I notice one of the website members, 'soundsexciting', has replied to another review stating that you can upgrade the storage capacity of the WACS700, but of all the literature I have read on the product I have yet to find this mentioned anywhere. If I was to find out that this is the case it would probably sway me into buying the product. So 'soundsexciting' if you could point me in the right direction on how to upgrade the unit this would be greatly appreciated.

Summary: Good looking, small storage!!

This wasn't a review.
The guy admits its not a review and more a request for additional info.
People who rate just for the sake of it really annoy me.
Give the poor chap a break willa people.

Just looked up the WACS5. Its a neat looking device but its not a replacement for the WACS700. The two are for different end users. The WACS5 looks to me to be aimed at audiophiles who demand decent sound. As such, the WACS5 doesn't come with built-in speakers and allows you to purchase separate high quality speakers. This means that it will never be a completely wireless device since you will require a set of speaker cables to run from the main box to the speakers. The WACS700 on the other hand has built-in speakers and is truely wireless however you don't get a choice of speakers. You get the bog standard average speakers built-in. So its all about what you are looking for.
Me ? I required a device that I could use as a central server an stream music to different rooms wirelessly. No messy speaker cables, no fuss, no hassle and each room having the ability to play different music simulataneously. That was my criteria and the WACS700 fits it perfectly. The reduction in the quality of the music was a price I was willing to pay as I can only very rarely tell the difference between a good system and a bad system.
40gig is fine for me. Obviously 80 would be better but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
