“ Brand: Beanstalk / Nursing Aid: Highchairs „
I received this highchair as a hand me down from a friend but believe it retails around £30.
I've just started using it for my 6 month old son and have found it to be very sturdy and fit for the job.
the tray can be put into 3 positions - excellent for when they start to get bigger and need more room. The tray is also very wide and spacious - lots of room for bowl and toys together. It also has an indent for a bottle / beaker.
The straps are flexible and can be adjusted by the waist and the shoulders to get baby securely strapped in.
The seat itself is very padded so any baby head throw backs won't do any damage!
Very easy to put up and collapse and is easy to clean too.
A couple of downsides:
* The straps can be quite fiddly to get the adjustments right and the click in bit is quite stiff.
* There is no under chair storage basket which is quite handy to have.
Overall though - for the money, it is a good buy. It travels well too so handy for when taking it out and about.
The Beanstalk Delta highchair is for children of 6 month and older. It is perfect if you want something to put your baby in while you do the dishes or cleaning as well as feeding and entertaining your child. It is easy to keep clean and has straps that will keep the child secure at all times. The highchair is a basic model with an unmovable tray which is quite big, but that is not a disadvantage. I do wish that the tray could be movable for the times your child is not eating. The highchair is unfortunately not foldable and in my opinion this is a serious disadvantage. Because of its size (H 99, W 65, D 78 cm) and bulk, storing it is not easy. The only way of storing it is to dismantle it and then put it back together again when it is needed. It has a washable cover and weighs 6 kilos. The legs of the highchair are very steady but have a wide space between them, so placing the chair close to the dinner table might be difficult.
It is one of the cheaper models and you can find it at Argos for about £30. There are cheaper models which are made from plastic like this highchair isn't. It has no cushion but there is room for one depending on the size of your child. The space between the tray and the seat is rather big so using the straps is recommended. Due to the fact that the chair is for children from 6 months and up to 2-3 years, the seat is quite big. So leaving children unattended, even when using the straps, should always be avoided. This applies to everything that has to do with young children but a warning should always be made.
The most positive thing about this product is that it has a washable cover, so when my daughter is making a big mess I simply just take a cloth and wipe it off. Another thing is the straps, though they don't have soft padding, they are definitely useful and needed.
The most negative about the Beanstalk Delta highchair is the size, only because it is not foldable. Also the wideness of the legs, which makes the highchair take up a lot of space. But if you don't mind that storage might be difficult and you have a lot of space at home, then I think you should consider this highchair from Beanstalk. You will, on the other hand, find better products, depending on what you are looking for in a highchair, but then you will have to pay a bit more money. Despite all this, I do think you get a decent highchair for the money you pay.
The Beanstalk highchair is great, you can buy it from Argos for £24.99. The highchair is unisex so will suit any baby. It is suitable for children from 6 months to 3 years or for children up to the weight of 15kg. The size of the highchair folded is (H) 123cm, (W) 62.5cm, (D) 18cm and the weight of the highchair is 6.28kg.
It is the cheapest highchair that you can buy from Argos. At first I wasn't sure whether to buy it because it was the cheapest and thought the quality may not be as good. But decided to give them a try and I brought two of them for my twins girls, and they lasted a long time and were very simple to put and down.
The highchair is great as it is unisex, the seat is yellow chequered with three little cartoon animal pictures along the back, which are a giraffe, monkey and elephant with the name of what they are underneath. Then the rest of the highchair the legs and tray etc are white. The highchair has a 5-point safety harness so you can tighten or loosen the harness as much as you want making it extra safe it is also very easy to do up. The highchair also has an attached footrest which you can higher or lower to suit your child this is good to support your child's feet and make them comfy. It also has a nice big white plastic tray that you attach where you can put your child's food on whilst you're feeding them. This can also be removed if you want to take it off whilst you're getting your child out the highchair.
The main things that I love about this highchair are that it is really easy to fold down for storage or when not being used. The seating and tray can easily be wiped down as your child is bound to get food all over it when feeding so there's no worries of it getting stained. I also love the fact that the tray is quite big as I managed to attach some toys on the top of it to keep my daughters entertained whilst waiting for there food.. I think this is a great highchair and would highly recommend it.
Suitable from 6 months to 3 years. Features: wipe clean removable tray, wipe clean upholstered seat, height adjustable footrest, 5 point harness.
