A great baby purchase one of the best things I have bought. Great brand!

After trawling the internet for a high chair, my husband and I were at a loss. All the highchairs we saw were quite expensive, they didn't have a long life span on them in terms of weight for babies and they didn't look how we wanted them to. Having already purchased a concord rio rocking chair for our son we were pleased with the brand and decided to look at what else they made.

We debated between this and the full high chair but as we are always out the travel highchair seemed the sensible option. This is very reasonably priced (I think we paid £59.99 for it) and comes in its own carry bag for easy storage and transport. It is very easy to assemble and comes with a clear set of instructions. The only nuisance I have found with mine is that the poppers on the back of the head rest are difficult to clip together when the chair is set up but that may just be me!

My son immediately loved the chair and beamed when we sat him in it. It is compact and sturdy, and has a lap strap from 3 points to securely strap a baby into the chair. The chair clips on to a normal dining chair with adjustable clip straps- there is one to go around the chair back and one underneath. Once adjusted and tightened the high chair sits very securely on a dining chair. The tray on the high chair is easy to keep clean as is the chair itself. I have just started weaning my son so am getting more use out of it now however he enjoyed sitting at the table with us before he started solids so it was nice to have somewhere to sit him! The chair also looks very stylish and comes in a variety of colours- a plus for the fashion and colour coordinatingly conscious people out there!

I am so pleased with this purchase as when not in use it is so compact to store away, its easy to transport, comfortable for my son and is very secure. We are glad we got this over a normal high chair due to limited storage space at our house!

I really trust the concord brand and this is yet another great product of theirs we have purchased. Definitely one worth looking at.

I love this and would recommend it to anyone who likes eating out and loves stlyish design.

Things I love about this chair:
      1) It's easy to use
      2) It's spacious yet cozy for little ones
      3) Easy to clean
      4) Comes in its own carry bag
      5) Versatile - You can use it anywhere
      6) It looks stylish and contemporary - not too much plastic!
I purchased one of these when my daughter was about 4 months old.
Firstly, I bought it with weaning in mind and so didn't anticipate using it straight away. However, I put our baby in it and she absolutely loved it! We'd been using the bumbo seat but she got frustrated in it. This seat enabled her to balance and move around but without falling out. It is excellent to use as a safe, comfy seat for your small baby.
Now our daughter is 6 months old and eating food. I use this seat when we go out to resaurants and cafes. It fits on almost all chairs (I've never found one it doesn't) and is really easy to attatch. If you want to sit it up to the table, it's quick and easy to get out of the bag. If you want to use it on the floor or on a chair with the tray, it takes a couple of minutes more to attatch the tray. I leave it in the car and on several occasions, I've leant it to friends while we're out.
We went out for a meal at a posh restaurant last weekend and I forgot to take it, we ended up using a horrible plastic highchair where our daughter had to sit far away from the table because of the massive tray which was far too high up for her. We actually had to ask the waitress to clean it before we used it because it was so grubby! I won't be forgetting it again!

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Don't bother geting a big highchair, use your own chairs and a Concord Lima

The Concord Lima folding travel highchair can be used as a stand alone chair or attached to a normal chair. It has a removable tray so your child can eat at the table if you prefer. The seat cover can be removed and the manufactures claim that it can be washed at 30 deg C in the washing machine. It folds flat for transport and comes with its own travel bag.

I bought this to replace the Bumbo which my child had outgrown. I wanted a seat that wasn't too big, was portable and could be used so my child could eat at the table. It's small size and padded seat keeps my daughter comfortable and secure during meal times. She hated the highchairs with the shoulder straps as she would always end up slumped in the chair. However she is able to sit perfectly upright in the Lima and feeding can continue with problem.

The chair folds to almost flat, I don't usually bother with the travel bag and just throw it into the boot of the car. It's been invaluable when visiting relatives and friends during meal times, although I usually just use it as a stand alone chair and feed her on the floor when not at home. Our dinning room chairs have a rounded back and seat. It took awhile to get the straps just right to secure the chair. To stop the straps moving to a narrower part of the chair I wrapped the straps around the chair legs. This keeps it secure. I would say that the Lima could be used on almost any as the straps are very long.

Getting my daughter in and out is easy, even with the tray attached (although she is still only 20lb). The tray has a rough surface to it which means that toys or bowls with suction cups won't suck! The tray also has a very small depression for a cup or glass, but it is far too small for any sippy cups we use.

I usually just sponge down the seat cover with detergent to get rid of most food stains. I have washed it twice at 30 deg C, hand-wash setting in my washing machine and the cover has shrunk a little so it does not fit as well. I wish the cover was easier to clean, a more wipe-able fabric would have been better. I especially dislike the towel like material on the arms of the chair. I guess it's to provide comfort but it just acts as a catcher for any food going and it's difficult to keep clean.

Overall I'm please with the chair. I got it for £30 from an ebay seller. My only wish is that the cover could be cleaned more easily. I would recommend the Concord Lima Folding Travel Chair to anyone looking for a portable chair to use with there own dinning room chairs.
