Advantages: Asthetically pleasing and easy to use.

Disadvantages: Difficult to clean for the high price tag.

A beautiful, sleek design but only in appearance is the hob any good. Unfortunetly, there are two main faults both concerning cleaning: one is that the plates of glass have gaps between them causing crumbs, dirt and dust to slip between them and it is nearly impossible to clean. Secondly, the top glass plate can be very difficult to clean as can the metal pot holders, they become very sticky and require special fluids to clean them. Furthermore, for the high price it is rather porrly made, the metal pot holders are not held in place securely - one of mine fell off and has cracked the glass and no longer sits properly on the hob. Overall it looks beautiful but isn't as paractical as it should be for the high price tag. I would recomend a AEG hob but not this model as my last one was perfectly functional and it lasted for years.

Summary: Try a different model as i have had much better AEG hobs.
