I had this Neff ceramic hob installed a couple of years ago after much research on the subject opted for this NEFF one.
Specifications were good - it had a number of various cooking specs, a hot plate for warming, electric with a smooth clear glass type ceramic top - basically for ease of cleaing.
Dimensions (HxWxD) (mm) - 51 x 795 x 517
80cm - 4 zone ceramic hob
Instant light on shows cooking indicators and instantly shows which ring is on.
Electric light display shows each ring which is on
It comes with a beep signal for when the timer goes off.
Has an added safety feature of a child safety lock - which I thought was very good.
So far I have not been disappointed in this product. It heats up very quickly in seconds, has a electric timer built in so you can set your food and it will switch off. It looks good, works extremely well. It cooks fast too particularly on the highest setting of 9. There are no standard 'knobs'. You switch it on with a light touch of your finger to the base of the ceramic hobb and it counts for 1-9 for heat. It has a good safety aspect - once the oven is off it lets you know the plate are still hot by illuminating an H mark until it is cool
You need to read the instructions to get the best out of it, not easy to use if you are used to a normal standard oven with knobs - might take some getting used too for some. Since I have had it unfortunately something smashed onto the side of it and a piece of glass has come away - so to be aware of - not as sturdy as could be.
All in all a good item - would I buy it again? Probabyalthough it is on the top end of price for a ceramic hob I would though if not just for the ease of cleaning and fast heat up times and child safety lock options.
