Sony DAV S 880 ... is one smart home theatre system! It is great-looking and sounds fantastic. It is quite expensive compared to other makes, but delivers everything you would expect from Sony. With its superior sound quality and a hefty 350 Watts RMS, my hi-fi is now obsolete. It quite happily plays MP3, CDR and CDRW and has numerous inputs for connecting auxilliary equipment like hi-fi systems etc. The free-standing space-age speakers do away with the hassle of fixing the satellite speakers to the wall and they look fantastic. Sony DAV S 550 ... is a great piece of kit for any movie lover. It?s stylish and kicks out excellent sound quality. The unit comes in silver and is a compact design. It connects via phono sockets to your sound outputs e.g. TV, Video, Sky and Games Console. The DVD connects via Scart or Svideo sockets to your TV. The subwoofer is quite large and needs to sit on the floor the speakers are small satellite ones which can be discretely placed around your living room. Speaker Cable is high quality and is really long with nice little connecting plugs so no frayed wires. This unit can be used in any size room, as everything is fully adjustable. Lenoxx Sound HT 600 ... can I say. It played everything I threw at it. It looks great. It sounds excellent. The speaker volumes are all fully adjustable, as are many other aspects of this machine. It can be connected with your other equipment running through it to get the benefit of surround sound. http://www.lenoxx.com/audiosystems/HT600.htm is where you will find details and fully downloadable manuals to read if you are still not sure. My advice to you is GO AND GET ONE OF THESE. They really are excellent. I managed to get mine from Safeways for £99, but they are mostly £149 now as the offer has ended.
