... ve had the Philips HTS3100 in our living room for about 6 months now and both myself and my fiancée are very impressed with it. The unit is silver and nicely finished with a blue digital display - however this does not display the time (whether the unit is on or off), meaning that we have to have a separate clock in our room. Samsung HT X30 ... purchased my one of these 18 Months ago from my local Currys and to be honest it has never worked properly from the moment I bought it. This player has some great features such as digital upscaler, DIvX playback & a USB interface which you can plug your external Hard drive into and play your favourate movie rip s or your entire MP3 collection. The first problem i had was that the audio was not synced with the visuals, this is using official rented DVD s. It did not matter what DVD I put in they all had the same problem. I ended up taking the player back after a month or so to find out that i was not allowed to have another one i had to sen it away to be fixed, I w... Samsung HT Z310R ... the price £155 it is a great system, 1000W, the sound gets very loud and the bass is good, the speakers are good and the rear speakers are small but produce good sound. The other features include Bluetooth, DivX, the Bluetooth works well and the DivX playback is very useful, the jack on the front is handy for plugging in your iPod or other music devices. It looks good. The fan can get a bit noisy which can be a bit annoying but most of the time you do not notice it and you can live with it. The number of inputs are a bit limited only one Optical, it has hdmi and up scales your DVD, although the quality on my TV was quite poor. The usb socket on the front allows ... Philips HTS3357 ... owned this for around 6 months now, and have been reasonably pleased with the system. Being fussy and having a Philips tv, I partly chose this to match, but there are better looking systems on the market. The other deciding factor was cost, at £135 it offered great value for money compared to others. The dvd player itself is a bit on the large size and because of the storage unit i have caused me some problems. Apart from this set up was quite simple. The sound quality is brilliant, much better than just the tv speaker. One thing I found a little vague in the installation instructions was when setting up the speaker sound levels and delay settings. This wasnt really...
