Philips HTS3115 ... home theatre system i purchased nearly a year ago and i hhave watched countless films on it and this greatly enhances the experience. So simply to install, although i had been worried, all wires are colour coded and a map was provided giving optimum speaker position which we followed and would recommend also doing so if possible. Only thing that didnt suit me was the two tall speakers on stands are positioned to the front of the room and i thought were quite big and obvious, but they are easily detachable and can be wall mounted and then you hardly notice them. Sony DAV DZ260B ... your after a home theatre system for the lounge. If your anything like me you want the best bang for bucks! Fortunately I did a lot of reading and found that this unit the Sony DAV-DZ260 is definitely the best for money. You can buy one of these for under £150 now, and they are truely AMAZING! The sound quality and sheer volume (if you want) is far more than you will EVER need. It truely brings the cinema to you. I bought this in conjunction with my Sony 40" LCD TV. It has something called Theatre Sync , which basically means you can operate both units, the DVD and the TV from either remote (handy really, especially as they are both SONY). Can be a bit trick... Sony DAV S 400 ... a film lover, a home cinema system was one of the first things i bought when i oved to my first house. After looking in shops and on the internat this one caught my eye. The biggest selling point for me, was the size of the speakers. Very small and light in weight compared to some other systems, ideal for fixing to the wall. It is also a powerful system with each speaker being 40 watts and the sub being 100 watts. For my small terraced house - ideal. Once all plugged in and speakers positioned it was time to play.
