Sony DAV DZ230 ... unit is quite slim line so you are able to place it nearly anywhere, and also the slim line makes it look good. The speakers itself are quite attractive, and are really good, they perform quite well even at loud volumes. The sound quality is great. Also the speaker cables that you get in the box are fairly long, so I was really able to place the back speakers at the back of the room, and not use extra cable. It has a HD upscale that increase the quality of normal DVD to much better quality on the HD output by a HDMI. The quality of the upscale is really good, when i compared it to my normal DVD player. Sony DAV DZ100 ... Sony DAV DZ100 is a great home cinema system and although it s been discontinued it s still going strong after 2 years. The DZ100 is a 5.1 surround system meaning you get 1 subwoofer and 5 smaller satellite speakers to put around the room. Although the subwoofer is slightly on the large side, they are all very stylish and look great as part of your TV setup. The speakers and DVD player are all silver with black material over the front of the speakers. This means that it will suit most rooms whether you have a black or silver TV. This uses radio signals to transmit the rear sound from the amplifier to the rear speakers, which are separately powered by the S-Air receiver. Here you just have a frequency module to plug into the decoder and the receiver, and then speaker wires to the two rear speakers. There are three channels available, with the option to specifically pair your devices, so there s little risk of your neighbour picking up your surround sound.
