Panasonic SC PT560EG-K ... seeing this in Currys I fell in love with it. It looks fantastic, with two satellite speakers that you can hang on the wall (up in the 2 corners at the back of the room) Then the 2 front speakers come with stands. As well as the centre speaker which sits well on my mantle piece beneath the tv hanging on the wall. And then there s the sub woofer. The surround amp/dvd is a good size, about the size and thickness of a normal dvd player. The surround amp and dvd player had HDMI output. Which upscales standard dvds to High Definition. This makes the picture quality look outstanding. The power output is 1000watt. And sub woofer is around 270 watt, which means the bas... Philips HTS3115 ... home theatre system i purchased nearly a year ago and i hhave watched countless films on it and this greatly enhances the experience. So simply to install, although i had been worried, all wires are colour coded and a map was provided giving optimum speaker position which we followed and would recommend also doing so if possible. Only thing that didnt suit me was the two tall speakers on stands are positioned to the front of the room and i thought were quite big and obvious, but they are easily detachable and can be wall mounted and then you hardly notice them. Sony DAV DZ260B ... your after a home theatre system for the lounge. If your anything like me you want the best bang for bucks! Fortunately I did a lot of reading and found that this unit the Sony DAV-DZ260 is definitely the best for money. You can buy one of these for under £150 now, and they are truely AMAZING! The sound quality and sheer volume (if you want) is far more than you will EVER need. It truely brings the cinema to you. I bought this in conjunction with my Sony 40" LCD TV. It has something called Theatre Sync , which basically means you can operate both units, the DVD and the TV from either remote (handy really, especially as they are both SONY). Can be a bit trick...
