The first one of these I got was a dead on arrival. The second was actually working, so that was a bonus!

The cables for the speakers are all nice and long, they are easy to connect. In fact, setting this thing up was very simple thanks to easy instructions and the fact that it was obvious how everything slotted together.

Once up and running, the sound quality is fairly good and it simulates stereo signals into 5.1 surround sound and has various presets for doing this (Movie/Music/Stadium etc) which is useful.

It can read from USB pens (or some MP3 players) and you can play music directly from these which can be very useful.

Each speaker can be positioned in out of normal areas because there are volume levels for each speaker so you can compensate with volume (and timing).

The only weakness is the remote control. There are so many buttons it gets confusing. There are separate play buttons for DVD and for USB. If you press pause, you must press the correct play button or you change the source of the sound/vision.

I haven't noticed any poor pictures or sound coming from this system and the addition of FM/AM radio and USB makes this nice to use.
