Only problem is the Tuner section, there is constant interferance on all programmes, even local broadcast stations, AM and FM alike, took it back to Dixons, got a replacement, after conecting this replacement up, it is exactly the same as the first one, able to tune radio stations in but the reception is terrible, unable to listen to any with any clarity, tried all sorts of aerial connectiosn, nothing gave any real reproduction of broadcasts, I believ the fan at the rear of the chasis was casing most ...more

After just decorating the front room it was decided that we needed a nice new tv,dvd player and stereo to furnish it. We'd checked Comet and there was always something we didn't like in the deals they were offering, but thats a personal thing. We'd seen the megadeals in the safeway offers pamphlet pushed through the letterbox and had a couple of times noticed a Home Cinema DVD system being offered for £149.99. Looked at several home cinema dvd players for the bedroom, saw and tried some but not impressed with some on offer, saw the Lenoxx in Dixons at £129.99 less 25%, asked the salesman about it, read the manual and I was very impresed at how comprehensive this was. The Lenoxx 600 had DTS, Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic (but not Pro Logic 2) smart set, so decided to buy one. This dvd player was bought for me as a christmas present, and i was amazed at the quality of the finish and the look of the player as soon as i opened the box. The ease of instalation was amazing to with the colour coded manual that you dont often get with bigger manufacturers made it quick and simple even if there was enough wire to wire it to the moon and back, but overall ithink that you would be hard pushed to find a dvd player with the same style, finish and features for the same price very happy ... What can I say. It played everything I threw at it. It looks great. It sounds excellent. The speaker volumes are all fully adjustable, as are many other aspects of this machine. It can be connected with your other equipment running through it to get the benefit of surround sound. http://www.lenoxx.com/audiosystems/HT600.htm is where you will find details and fully downloadable manuals to read if you are still not sure. My advice to you is GO AND GET ONE OF THESE. They really are excellent. I managed to get mine from Safeways for £99, but they are mostly £149 now as the offer has ended.
