The set-up of the system is very complicated. The remote control is very user unfriendly and the button legends are difficult to see unless in bright light, which is usually not the case in a home theater. Button push combinations are hard to remember, so one has to keep the manual open at all times.Some DVD's are playing with distortion or stop playing altogether. Some DVD's do play the picture only but without the sound.The quality of the sound is impressive though, considering the size of the speakers.
