The problem is there is a residual current going through the SV Video lead, which causes white lines up and down the picture, which is not noticeable, until you see them, then they are a pain. The solution is easy, any Panasonic centre can arrange for the unit to be modified, which takes about an hour. The problem I had, was that my local Panasonic centre wasn?t a where of the problem, and needed some convincing. This System is a great looking system and one you would be proud of having sitting under your television set. The good points, great picture quality, great sound, easy remote and lots of features. However there is one slight problem, Panasonic, have a compatibility problem with there own television sets. I have a TX28-PL-1, Panasonic television set and the two are not compatibility.
